Carroll's costly upgrade to his already up-powered pony car was spotted as it gets ready to head out to the Mid-America Ford Performance and Shelby Meet in Tulsa, OK this weekend. If you'll remember, this pricey piece of pumped-up solid-rear-axled snake meat may wrap itself around your wallet like a boa, but it'll give your GT500 a boost to either 600 or 725 HP depending on which package you choose. Unfortunately this will be nothing the dealers can do about this. The car is supposed to be a limited production vehicle and if people were paying damn near 80k for a regular GT500 then I'm sure these will probably be selling for damn near $100k. I mean I can't blame the dealers for selling the car for those prices but after talking to my buddy who works over at McCafferty Ford he said they got 2 GT500's and what they did was they put them both up for sale at the sticker price and they did a auction for them and both sold for over $75k. I think the red with white racing stripes sold for $82k and the red with no stripes sold for $76k and some change

Concurance. I have not really ever been a big Ford fan, The new Forced induction cars move out good, however their N/A stuff is slow.

This is a good looking car though and will sell for way more than what it is worth.

Well, Yeah. The dealer can choose to sell it for MSRP vs charging another premium on top of it. But they won't because some folks are just stupid enough to pay them.

Hot car. On a related note, I saw my first '07 GT-500 on the road yesterday, yellow with black stripes....way hot! I'm not a Mustang man, I don't really like any Mustangs since the last fox bodies, but that really grabbed my attention!

I hope they made this one do more than just go in a straight line. The 2007 GT500 my Dad & I test drove had horrible handling compared to the C6.

The Super Snake will have a better suspension setup. Here's what it includes

handling package includes adjustable dampers, lowering springs, stabilizer bars, and a front strut-tower brace.

Car & Driver had them together in a comparison test...( C6 won hands down) Though i agree that they arnt even on the same plane.
