collector truck

If you could have a collector truck from the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's or even 70's ,what would you like to have?,I'm partial to 40's and 50's myself,
not much in the 70's interests me.

Re: collector truck

I've always liked the '55 Chevy P/U. An old panel wagon would be cool too.

Re: collector truck

I like the offerings from both Ford and Chevy when it comes to classics. The old Chevy Sedan Delivery trucks were kewl....I wanted on in HS for a "love wagon."

Re: collector truck

'57 Mopar Sweptside. Preferably Fargo or DeSoto, since they're FAR more rare...but a dodge would work too.

That's my '60 that I used to have...sold it to a guy in southern California that rebuilt it VERY nice. He just sent me pics about a week or two ago actually...

The Power Wagon. God's 4wd.

The '57 Sweptside. Yes, its a truck with fins. Awesome. Came with the semi-hemi as well.

Poor quality low res picture of the front...but you get the idea.

Check out this website...its got lots of cool ass trucks on it, if you're interested in 'em.

Also, here's the DeSoto and the Fargo.

Desoto:

The Fargo.

And a '60 with a Viper engine and hood-styling. Bad ASS. Wow.

Sorry...got kinda excited with memories and dreams of my truck. They were replaced by the same ideas with the Challenger I have now.

I know the Syclone is "new" but that is a pretty rare truck.

Re: collector truck

If I was gonna buy a truck from the eras you mentioned...

A one ton crewcab long box from any of the big three made inbetween about 1974 and 1979...must have the big block, either 440, 454 or 460.

1953 Ford...the one with the really cool looking grille

Late '70s Bronco/K5 Blazer
