Last I knew it was the Isuzu... How long you have this T.C. ?

I've had the Town Car for almost 2 months now... put almost 4,000 miles on it so far.

I still have the Isuzu... and now my parents old '89 Brougham... and the Town Car.

I really like the Town Car... besides a large amount of broken things (neglected) when I first bought it, everything has been great, all fixed now. It is a really awesome car. Had 93,813 miles on it when I got it, I am the 3rd owner, always been in FL and the underbody is super clean.... $3,495 and I am really happy.

Here was the thread about it... all 11 pages worth... lotta pics within it too.

Just an FYI.. The top model (Cartier, Ultimate, etc) had much softer, more expensive leather than the rest of the Town Cars during the same model years. Just like the Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham had much softer leather than the regular Fleetwood did... It makes a big difference.

The "plainest" model is always used for livery and you don't get the nice seats...

Returning the Town Car in a couple of hours and heading back to Chicago. I will post pics when I get back later tonight.

I can't believe how small the gas tank is in the TC!

I know how everyone thinks the towncar trunk is huge...which it is. But its not the most useful form of huge. By that I mean, the trunk is very deep. One has to stack things on top of each other to really use that space. In my 2000 DTS, the trunk wasnt as deep, but stretched farther back. I found that to be more useful as I would not have to stack things on top of each other.

Needs whitewalls, otherwise = beautiful. I love the 2003-2007 T.C.(s). Big, soft and comfy, the way a luxury car should be. God forbid a Corvette would be like this, however. Corvette = performance, like a Saleen, over at Ford, and a Hemi SRT8 at Chrysler.

It was nice, but not what I would consider the modern version of the luxury land yachts (Fleetwood Brougham and Town Car).. it is more of a continuation of the same car that sadly will come to an end just like the RWD Fleetwood did.

The 2006 DTS I rented last year would have been perfect if it was 4 inches longer and RWD.. other than that, it blows the TC away:

I'm not really a huge fan of the current Town Car's exterior design, but man it looks sooo much better than the 98-02 models!

I think Dad made a big mistake dumping that SRT-8 Charger for that STS. The STS looks 90% like a CTS. It's really hard to tell the difference and they both look foreign, i.e Infiniti or Lexus or Audi A4. The SRT-8 was brute USA force. THAT car I loved.

Haha, no mistake made! He traded the SRT8 for a 2007 Corvette Z06.. then the Z06 for a new Mercedes SL55 AMG.

The STS is the "beater" car for my parents.....
