Ford is expected to revamp the popular Mustang with a progressive front and rear face-lift for the 2009 model year. In addition, the GT version will be tweaked, with its output going up to the 350-horsepower range.
So far, Ford hasn't commented on the 2009 model, but rumors have been widely circulating. They include speculation that a retractable hardtop may be offered.
At this time, all we can offer is this illustration of what our artist thinks is the direction Ford is taking with the 2009 face-lift. He just may be on target. |

I like them....but... thats it... you really can't change the deisgn and still have the retro look, cause then it dosn't look like the origanal, and updating a retro car just makes it a normal car again.
Ah well.... I guess the '05 retro design did it's job. I like them alot.... not that drawing tho. |

Maybe ford is just going to use their concept to start from and change it as they see fit. |

INHO the current design Mustangs, especially the ones with the body kits, are the best looking design ever. I don't like the artist's rendition of the 09 very much.
