They closed the only 7 or so stores they had in the London and the only remaining one was in Terminal 3 at Heathrow airport.
Even though it's listed on the airport website the phone number is no longer in service and "information" at Heathrow say they have never heard of them.
I know a guy who works at the airport and he's gonna trek over to Terminal 3 himself to double check but it don't look good...
On the plus side I've found a few "American Restaurants" in London including a couple of BBQ places but I suspect they're American themed and have American style food, but they're not from the USA...
Me and a couple of friends are planning on hitting one of the BBQ places in the trendy part of town to chekc it out. |

There stuff tastes mediocre at best and is horribly over-priced. Subway is always a solid choice but far from the best!!
Jimmy Johns is FANTASTIC. I love Jimmy Johns. They have some of the best subs around. Another good one that I have had in Ft Myers Florida is Jersey Mikes. That might be the best sub I have ever tasted in my life!! Schlotzkys is good but we dont have those around here anymore. Havent for 10+ years. Since I am back on the low-carb I wont be eating any subs anytime soon. Those dirty bastards at subway no longer sell the low-carb wraps!! Also, Blimpie is always good in my area.
Lately I have been going to Planet Sub. SHIT IS FANTASTIC!! Their low-carb wraps cant be beat! Their subs are also the best around. They are even reasonably priced!

The UK is full of mostly Kebab, Chinese and Indian places with a bunch of non franchise cheap and nasty pzza places.
Still, that's why I love going to the States so much, all new stuff to try! Quote:

I still like Burger King, the best of all of them. Some Gov't. inspector I once sold a car to, told me that B.K. and Wendies use the highest quality meat. Now, to further explain, not the highest quality meat available to the public at any price.....the highest quality meat of the fast food joints. The highest quality meat available in the USA is "Prime Kosher Fresh" or PKF.
Meaning it is not USDA Choice, (lowest quality sold in supermarket chains) ~
next up is Prime, followed by Kosher Prime and then the tip top which is Prime Kosher Fresh, meaning it has never been frozen.
Okay, no more lessions....... |
