Cool! Jimmy John's is pretty good, better than Subway, about as good as Erberts and Gerberts, but nowhere near as good as Schlotzkys. We (the shop I work at) gets Jimmy Johns on every wednesday. I always get the #5 (Vito) with no vegetables, but maybe tomorrow I'll get the hot peppers on it. Quote:

both are okay but subways cheaper and more choices....now for a real sub go to Penn Station. They make good subs..... |

Just got back from Jimmy Johns. I found out there's a location near WashU open until 1:30am! Best 45-minute trip I've ever taken. Country Club #11 rocks!

Subway do indeed do tokens over here.
One token per 6 inch sub bought, or 2 for each 12 inch.
Collect 8 to get a free sub I think.
Most of the 6 inch ones are around £3 iirc, which is about $6.
A 12 inch would come in at about $10.
They have a "sub of the day" offer which is £2 ($4) which is whatever special they feel like doing that day.
Quiznos and Subway are the only 2 American sandwich chains we get over here.
We also get Burger King, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa Johns (new arrival), Krispy Kreme (new, only 3 or 4 stores in the country). That's about it for take out / delivery places.
I have heard that there is a Wendy's at Heathrow airport, a couple of us guys are planning on doing a trip there if so...
No Denny's or iHop which frankly sucks big time...
We do get TGI, Outback, Chillis, Old Orleans.
That's about your lot... |

Srsly, I think Quiznos tastes the same... every sub tastes the same to me. Unless its chicken based then it tastes like crap.
Anyone who has heard of Larry's Giant Subs, they're not bad either.

I like Quiznos, I guess it is a matter of personal taste.
Subway is okay too.
I don't care about the bread so much, I get wheat and theirs is fine.
It is expensive, for sure.
I get the Chicken Carbonara and they make it good at my local store.
I don't go there a lot. |
