Unfortunately, most automobile forums don't have much participation from women. I really don't know why. I know a lot of women really into cars. I own and operate another dead site at deerparkavenue.com - it's a social networking site for people who cruise "the ave" (another Long Island term). Well, there were plenty of girls (mainly young people go there) talking about their cars when the site was busy...
I think slowly but surely, more women will start participating in places like this.
I might be mistaken but I think the crowd we have here is very mature (and cool) compared to many other automotive sites. That being the case, it's only a matter of time before our membership becomes more diversified...
All and all, it's very nice to have you here... |

Nycargrrl, I'm sure you remember me from the thread about your '88, but welcome, it's great to have another woman on here (like someone else said, it's like 7 girls versus 53,000 guys lol).
