I grew up in Upstate, NY (Mid-Hudson Valley) then moved to Florida a year and a half ago to go to tech school.... then went 6 hours North, but a whole lot deeper in the South..... and reside in GA.

I'm thinking I really picked the wrong screen name! It was really not given in depth thought cos I just registered to ask a question about buying the '88 Eldo, but then I bought it, and thus, decided to stick around. I will say this, my car belonged to a g*y man he was the last owner before me, so I guess I really should have joined up as him, "NYCarF*g"! now that would have sent ya all running for the hills, hee hee. (BTW, what's with the censorship?)

BTW, Sandy, have no idea how you could know what I look like since I have not posted a picture of myself (and I'm now wary of what would happen if I did, yeesh!). I sincerely hope that there was no flagrant google image search abuse, or any *mystalking involved in this so-called knowing what I look like already, if so, that's really kinda creepy. *(mystalking = hunting down people on myspace).

Well, that doesn't make too much sense, since when I wrote out the g*y word, it automatically inserted a big pink emoticon into my post -- the guy with the sign, saying "I'm g*y" So, it can be said in a smiley, but not typed out in full to make a point that wasn't derogatory in any way? Geez.

Seems much more like homophobia than "keeping things positive".

I guess a lot of guys don't really seem to know the difference between being homophobic and what they think is just being a man, but they do themselves a disservice, as only men insecure with their own orientation act that way, and women do notice that, and I think most women find that less attractive.

I guess I should know better than to expect anything different, this is a car forum, with mostly guys, I might as well have walked into a men's locker room. I guess I honestly think better of men, and try to always give them the benefit of the doubt. I am always hopeful that they will evolve. *sigh*

I may be opening a huge can of worms by speaking my mind, but if you guys can act like a bunch of guys, I reserve the right to act like a woman; a smart and strong one.

Well i already have a flesh and blood person i obsess over.And internet tail(if you could call it that) is just creepy.Only girls i ever speek with online are already existing friends i know and actually hang out with. The internet is a weird place.Especially the people.Probably because they are all strangers.Creepy,weird strangers.
