Pics from the International Minneapolis-St. Paul Auto Show!

I go to the International Auto Show yearly, it's like a ritual for me, I've been going yearly since 1992, except I've skipped one year, but these last few years I've been going 2-3 times a year, I plan on going 3x this year: last night with my friend Tracy (whom I've known since we were in the 1st grade), tomorrow with my best friends and I think again on Tuesday with another friend of mine that is here for a while from Idaho.

Anyways, here's some of the pics, I took 77 this time and I know I'll take more when I go back!

Audi R8. When I saw this in the mags and online, I thought it was kinda ugly, it looks much better in person.

New LS460, arguably the most comfortable car there, atleast that's what we thought.

It's NOT a Camry?

Tracy in the LS460...her favorite car there. I'm not quite sure what my favorite car is although the LS is in my top 5.

New XK, one of the best looking coupes from the last 15 years.

I love TSX's

Tracy didn't mind it either apparently.

UH OH! What have we got here! 1957 Imperial Crown Sedan?!

This just feels right.

OMFG! Chrysler supposedly destroyed all their test examples of these after it was deemed unfeasible, but apparently some were saved, this must be like one of one!

The Walter P. Chrysler Museum loaned three cars in magnificent shape to the show. The '57 Imperial, a '55 300C, and the '63(?) Chrysler Turbine Concept. Amazing!

This, as usual was a blast, I scored a lot of brochures and afterwords, Tracy and I went to Applebees and to her place for a bit to hang out, we're gonna go see a movie in two weeks. Boy I'm sure glad I blew off "stalker girl" for her.

I've mentioned earlier that my dad had a '57 Chrysler Windsor Four Door Sedan right? Well since I was a kid, I've loved those '57 Mopars, which is why I got so excited about this '57 Imperial. Here's a pic of a pic of that '57 we had. This pic was taken in '00 or '01, it's taken in our front yard and it's kinda a bad pic because the way the car is shadowed.

Coral Pink/White/Pink interior, 354 Spitfire V8, 285 hp, push button transmission. Pretty cool!

speaking of amg's finally got to get a long ride in my friends who is only 18 in his e55. extremely comfortable and while your sitting and going fast it really feels like your going relatively slow. very good handling. also my other friend who has an tsx while it looks nice, it lacks torque and actually takes quite of bit of muscle to get to 60. i always thought those had a v6 but it had a vtec 4

hey did they have a sublime charger there? I am going this week.

Also, are they going to build that Chrysler IMperial for sure?

I didn't see a sublime charger, or even a new Hemi Charger, I think there was a new SXT Charger, and an SRT-8 Magnum. And yes they're gonna build that Imperial, I thought I heard in the area of '09/'10.

I went back to the show today with my best friends, I took 92 pics this time lol, will post later!

That 1957 Crown Imperial 4-Dr. Hardtop won my heart. 2nd car I'd take from that show. The First? That new Imperial ! I have bought nothing, still keeping my '03 Town Car and waiting for the Imperial ! The fact that they are displaying it, looks good. (Well better than NOT displaying it, which would look bad for fruitation to reality.) Not sure what color i'd buy, but black would be a front runner. Definately NOT silver, nor white.

It's nice that a handful of those Turbine's have been preserved. I saw one at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry about 10 years ago. They're really stunning.

did they have any chargers on 24s in the after market room?
