New Member New CAR 06 CTS-V

Hey,

Just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I am currently in Fairfax, VA. I have just recently purchased a 2006 CTS-V, I have been reading and looking at this car since the first article was written about it in Motor Trend. I basically am a motor head and love anything on wheels.

I currently ride and race an 03 CBR 600RR, I have been working on motorcycles and cars since I was a kid. I have been planning for a CTS-V for a while and just recently had the opportunity to pick one up.

My CTS-V:

2006
Black Exterior
Black Interior
Tinted Windows

No other mods at this time. I waited so long I decided to go with the LS2 engine package.....
I want a Volant intake ---- not made yet
I want a Magnaflow Exhaust system ---- not made yet
I want a Hypertech Programmer ---- not made yet

Kinda not liking that there is not much for the LS2 at this time, it ahs been in the Vette for a while, can not understand why places are not offering more things for the CTS-V yet.

I will be getting the following:
BMR Strut tower Brace
BMR Pinoin Support Brace
Not sure if I will be getting any of the anti hop kit for this car, have not noticed too much wheel hop yet.
I will either get the UUC short shifter kit or the Mallet shifter kit.
I will probably get the 1-4 CAGS override

I hope to be talking with everyone as often as I can, with work and family I do not spend a large amount of time on forums.

I'm in and around fairfax all the time, live in Vienna right by the metro

I've got a completely stock 05 Redline V, i see a black on black over at the yorktowne plaza shopping center on gallows sometimes, takes off on 50 pretty good

I am not by the mall too often I am usually around the Fairfax City / Oakton area. I am sure if you are around the area we will pass at some point. I have not had the car very long. I picked it up the first week of this month. Drove it for a week and put it in the shop to be looked over, few items I was concerned about. Got it back this past weekend and with the snow have not been driving much.

I have been on the V-area of the site, having some issues sorting through how to find certain areas but I am learning.

few hits and I should have it down.
