Cadillac put those on the newer cars. Go to your dealer and you can buy the real one for your car. rblimas 02-25-07, 07:23 PM For your CTS?

but they are not glossy black.
how much do you guys think it will cost to have the new CTS antenna installed on my car? Ok I give up, why would you want to put a non fuctional antenna on your car ? rblimas 02-25-07, 07:30 PM Ok I give up, why would you want to put a non fuctional antenna on your car ?
it looks tight:D You might check in the supported vendor area with Lindsay Cadillac parts and ask there ? rblimas 02-25-07, 07:35 PM do you know how much it will cost to have a fully functional antenna installed? No, but I'm sure they can give you a pretty close estimate. rblimas 02-25-07, 07:52 PM some one just told me the the nav antenna is under the dash and the antenna on my back window is the onstar antenna. is this true? codewize 02-25-07, 08:38 PM What car are we talking about? In 03 you should have that style antenna on the roof? You should also not have an antenna ON the rear window. Is it a cellular style antenna? If so that's the onstar if it's IN the glass it's the NAV. I could swear 02 was the last year of doing that.

not in a CTS.
*edit* i had 2 king kongs(rockford fosgate 12in powers) in my lexus and i was bombing on people. codewize 02-26-07, 11:05 AM Yes that antenna on the window is the OnStar / Phone.
The NAV antenna to the best of my knowledge, or at least on the DeVille series cars in IN the rear glass. If you notice the rear defroster doesn't clear the very top of the glass? That's the NAV antenna, unless they changed it in the CTS.
bit stupid antenna i do not like on my window xxpinballxx 02-26-07, 12:16 PM reminds me of the fake headlight wipers people put on their cars a while back...
mimicking the Europeans. Mine was removed when I got my windows tinted. It is just on there with adhesive on the inside and outside. It then communicates through the glass. If you don't use on-star, just remove it. I tucked the wire back behind the c pillar and no longer have an antena. rblimas 02-26-07, 06:32 PM i think i might do this

Pics of "Jon"s CTS and CTS-V This may not be a constructive comment, but just think about what you are asking here. I fully understand about adding little things like this for appearance, but what are you going to say when one of your buds says "hey, what's that? You got satellite radio in here?"
Just saying... Go ahead and get the satellite radio, or don't, but if it was me I wouldn't fake it. rblimas 02-26-07, 07:38 PM This may not be a constructive comment, but just think about what you are asking here.
