Ok i just went on ebay a bought me some chrome pillars:stirpot:. most of you are like "WTF F-U" but i been thinking of getting them for a long time and my pillars are fading.:D

just a fyi, mothers "back to black" can usually restore any black fading, but your all set with your pillars!

i paid $46.77 and i just bought them off ebay..the pillars are from NY so they might take a week or two to get here.:mad:

In my honest opinion they stand out too much; kind of like a big zit on the end of your GF nose.

I can honestly say Jonnyd's car is the only CTS that I've actually thought the pillars looked great on, & I have them on mine.

I agree, it becomes the main focal point of the side of the car, especially on a blackillac.

What is really needed is a chunk from Harry Potters cloak so you can give your CTS that four-door hardtop look.

they do...but i am going for thar chromed out escalade look..i was going to get me some chrome door handles but it was a little to much chrome.

I thought very briefly about the chrome pillars and then said no. Then came the chrome door handles. I then thought about the chrome trunk strip you find on E Bay...only problem with it is because the trunk and tailights are flush, I think it would protrude too much. Then I thought about the chrome rain gutter strips you can get. I may actually still get those. Other then that, I like the lil bit of chrome up front and the monochromatic look of the car...it wasn't designed to have too much chrome on it.

Thats the whole idea. Detroit has been flat-blacking out the pillars for some time to give it the hardtop look. Chrome defeats that.
