My Supercars were legally bald at 6k miles, <2/32's tread evenly on all 4. Discount Tire in Cary called Goodyear for me, got a case# and then got $302 credit per tire towards purchasing their $407 per tire OEM replacements. So it would cost me $105 per tire to replace with OEM's. I wanted PS2's but they stated I needed to apply the credit toward Goodyear tires. So much for getting the Michelins. Instead I got the GSD3's for $60. Discount said I could call back and haggle with Goodyear to see if they would issue a store credit but I wasn't up for the hassle. Even if they do suck, at least the price was right.

I got 15k* out of the F1s, and a set of GSD3s cost me about $440 out the door, so you might have gotten a bit better, but not bad ... not bad.

* Factoid of the day: Gray hair around the temples makes tires last longer.
