| View Full Version : What do you call your Caddy? the Sandman 01-14-03, 09:22 AM Mine is the "Flying Numbus". Mad'lac 01-14-03, 09:32 AM I call mine the U.S.S. Mach. Short for my last name. My mom named her the Chatarra. Not sure what it means but knowing my mom she might be calling it the hooptie. Gumby 01-14-03, 11:15 AM It's not a Caddy, but the Alero's called Benny, my first Alero was called Bobby. Do know why, do ask! the Sandman 01-14-03, 05:25 PM :) Cruzship 01-15-03, 06:21 PM My little Cruzship Gumby 01-16-03, 11:58 AM sorry type-o meant to say 'DON'T' ask, my bad sorry. Anyway Bobby got traded in for Benny. It was the same kind of car but Bobby was my first car so it didn't feel right naming the new one the same as the old one. the Sandman 01-16-03, 12:48 PM :) peatea 01-16-03, 04:33 PM Across the front of my car (written backwards) it says: REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR Pat BeelzeBob 01-16-03, 05:28 PM That's certainly original. I've never seen anything like that before... Which one? The Eldorado? peatea 01-16-03, 07:21 PM I don't really but it would be interesting. Pat HotRodSaint 01-17-03, 09:10 PM Pimp Caddy elwesso 01-17-03, 09:29 PM Ive been thinking about a good name for a caddy, and the best so far i could think of is Darlene. Dont know how i came up with that, but i decided it has to be a female name, and not a common name, but not one that only 1 person in the US of A has. DeVillish 01-17-03, 10:16 PM lol, i was thinking Cruela(i dunno if thats how you spell it), as in Cruela De Ville. Seeing as i have a DeVille, but i think its a little to....kiddy. the Sandman 01-18-03, 07:36 AM :) elwesso 01-28-03, 04:06 PM Cruella, very appropriate, although im not sure i would name my deville one, if i had one. I dont know, it doesnt seem "cadillac". Come to think of it, im not sure i would name anything Cruella. I had another "enlightenment" and if i get a seville i could name it weseville. I know, it is really stupid, but hours of boredum gets you that Dead Sled 01-28-03, 04:13 PM Dead Sled, hehe could any one guess? Devil_concours 01-28-03, 11:27 PM how's little devil sound? My concern is that the car would end up with a porn-star name. Dead Sled 01-29-03, 06:07 PM Originally posted by Elvis I would be afraid to name a Caddy, particularly a Seville or DeVille. These cars deserve better than that. Dead Sled 01-31-03, 11:47 AM traditionaly some one else names your car. its much harder to do when you car looks good. green bomb, the booger, you know the ugly ones get the names that stick HollywoodHicks1 09-18-03, 10:25 AM I call mines "The Pimpmobile" :worship: El Dobro 09-18-03, 02:11 PM When I first got the Seville, I called it that &%$#@(*&^ that's leaking oil all over the driveway. Stoneage_Caddy 09-18-03, 03:06 PM Gladdis , the caddys a diva ,overweight ,and require massive ammonts of food and everyonce and while makes a bad sound when it chokes on something i toss down the throttle body trying to clean it out on second thought maybe its name should be mama cass davesdeville 09-18-03, 06:05 PM Hmm, my friends named my 75 deville the hoe train. If you ever saw "the godfather" in the old WWF, he was a pimp wrestler guy and his finishing move was called the hoe train, and he would say "(i forgot this part) and climb aboard the.." and the audience would shout "hoe train." So it fit. Now my 78 is starting to be called the Hoe-camotive, which is like locomotive but with hoe instead of lo. Wow I ramble on sometimes don't I. AJB2323 09-24-03, 05:17 PM Well I just got my Caddy, its a 1996 Fleetwood. It looks MINT and I got it for a good deal too. Me and my friend went to look at it, now previously I had driven a Blazer that was dubbed "Speed Blazer" (not that it went fast or anything LOL). That name escalated into a game of "Spot the Speed Blazer" and one time we spotted a Jimmy and called it a Speed Blazer and we came up with the name Mr Jimmy for Jimmys. Well then we started naming vehicles left and right. My friends little sister has this scooter thing that says "Whizzer" on the side, so we named it Speed Whizzer. Well Speed Blazer stuck with my car and everyone calls it that. One time when we were asked what kinda car I had we responded "A Speed Blazer". Well any way back to my Caddy, we went to look at it and needed to come up with a name for it right off the bat otherwise I wouldnt have bought it. Well as soon as we saw it me and my friend both said "Mr.Fleetwood" at the same time and now before I even have the keys in my hand (I am officially getting the car tommorrow, I technically own it right now but I dont have it) we have a name for it. Yup so my Caddys name is Mr.Fleetwood. davesdeville 09-24-03, 10:17 PM Really don't have a name but every one says smokin Ndo in da LDo b/c most of the time it has smoke pooring out the windows at night :bouncy: That's the best name or almost name ever. Props to ya for that one. JJhomer83 09-24-03, 11:38 PM That's the best name or almost name ever. Props to ya for that one. ITs a great crusier, I used to work at radioshack in high school so i know a little about simple switches, wiring, lighting, etc.. I have recently put in strobes, green int lights and now i am pondering others. The goal is to make it look normal but with the drop of the ash tray and some darkness a fun time. :p :rolling:  Gramps 09-25-03, 11:45 AM When I first got the Seville, I called it that &%$#@(*&^ that's leaking oil all over the driveway. I used to call my '78 Fleetwood that too. I also called the dealer mechanic that too and I got asked not say things like that when other customers were around. toomanytoyz 09-25-03, 01:14 PM Usually just "The Caddy" sometimes "Sway" A couple friends call it the "Pimp Daddy Caddy" My mother calls it "Elephant Running" :D MaineShark 09-28-03, 03:06 AM When I told my brother I was looking for a Caddy, he asked "you're getting a pimp-mobile?" I think I need a better name than that, though :) I'm not good at naming cars, though. I usually call my Corvette "the Shark," which is fairly un-imaginative. (for those who don't know, third generation Corvettes are all known as "Sharks," because their body is a derivative of the Mako Shark II concept car - up through 1976, they had the "Stingray" badging, so those cars are usually called Stingrays, but all third generation Corvettes, up through 1982, can be called Sharks) Joe HollywoodHicks1 10-02-03, 10:43 AM Ok, I originally called it The Pimpmobile, but then I see that people already have it, so now I just call it "The Car." shaggygrosser 10-02-03, 10:34 PM 'Trin' or 'Trinity' because my CTS looks exactly like the CTS that Trinity drove in The Matrix Reloaded (minus the bullet holes). Ralph 10-02-03, 10:50 PM 'Trin' or 'Trinity' because my CTS looks exactly like the CTS that Trinity drove in The Matrix Reloaded (minus the bullet holes). Actually now you can get those fake bullit hole decals that you stick on the paint, and it looks like metal peeled back from a bullit. Pretty funny when I saw it on a Cavalier the other day. Maybe I will put a couple on my better-halfs car to fool her, but then she would probably think they are real and call the cops! :bonkers: shaggygrosser 10-03-03, 09:44 AM I heard about those bullet hole decals and thought that was the most retarded thing I've ever heard. Who wants to make it look like their car has been shot? Maybe I don't really want to know... Maybe I don't really want to know... those are for people who don't care about their cars as much and like a good joke. You'll see 'em on a POS car once in a while and crack up. Obviously a caddy owner wouldn't purposely put that kind of sticker on his/her car. Actually come to thing of it, I never see caddies with stickers or decals on them. ever. shaggygrosser 10-03-03, 10:20 AM those are for people who don't care about their cars as much and like a good joke. I can't remember ever seeing a Cadillac with stickers on it. Maybe I've never been paying attention, but I'll keep an eye out now, it'll be interesting what I find. Deep Sleep 10-13-03, 01:12 AM My 86 deville is called 'sledgehammer', which is what we used to call my old malibu wagon streetracer. But I dont do that anymore.. SLS97 10-13-03, 10:13 PM I sometimes call mine "Kitty!" Caddy, Kitty! OK.. AJ25 I agree! A friend of mine pulled up in her Jag and I was shocked! A bumper sticker on the front bumper! I wasted no time telling her to GET THAT G-D THING OFF. The car was trashed! She agreed! AKPsiMC03 10-13-03, 10:46 PM on a good day i call her Dora. On a bad day I call her Bitch CognLac 10-14-03, 02:28 PM I named my caddy Cognlac, its half Cognac and Lac, Because i own a cadillac and I probably drink too much cognac. My friends agree ;) ShadowLvr400 10-14-03, 02:37 PM Alyssa. She's sleek, sexy, sophisticated... But there is a VERY naughty streak in her. Just rev your motor at a light next to me, and you'll see. :) | |
