Ive been thinking about a good name for a caddy, and the best so far i could think of is Darlene. Dont know how i came up with that, but i decided it has to be a female name, and not a common name, but not one that only 1 person in the US of A has.

lol, i was thinking Cruela(i dunno if thats how you spell it), as in Cruela De Ville. Seeing as i have a DeVille, but i think its a little to....kiddy.

Cruella, very appropriate, although im not sure i would name my deville one, if i had one. I dont know, it doesnt seem "cadillac". Come to think of it, im not sure i would name anything Cruella.

I was thinking FEMALE, and the first name I came up with was "Samantha Seville" and it just sounded like a cheap Vegas stripper or something. These cars deserve better than that.

traditionaly some one else names your car. its much harder to do when you car looks good. green bomb, the booger, you know the ugly ones get the names that stick

Hmm, my friends named my 75 deville the hoe train. If you ever saw "the godfather" in the old WWF, he was a pimp wrestler guy and his finishing move was called the hoe train, and he would say "(i forgot this part) and climb aboard the.." and the audience would shout "hoe train." So it fit.

Now my 78 is starting to be called the Hoe-camotive, which is like locomotive but with hoe instead of lo. Wow I ramble on sometimes don't I.

Well I just got my Caddy, its a 1996 Fleetwood. It looks MINT and I got it for a good deal too. Me and my friend went to look at it, now previously I had driven a Blazer that was dubbed "Speed Blazer" (not that it went fast or anything LOL). That name escalated into a game of "Spot the Speed Blazer" and one time we spotted a Jimmy and called it a Speed Blazer and we came up with the name Mr Jimmy for Jimmys. Well then we started naming vehicles left and right. My friends little sister has this scooter thing that says "Whizzer" on the side, so we named it Speed Whizzer. Well Speed Blazer stuck with my car and everyone calls it that. One time when we were asked what kinda car I had we responded "A Speed Blazer". Well any way back to my Caddy, we went to look at it and needed to come up with a name for it right off the bat otherwise I wouldnt have bought it. Well as soon as we saw it me and my friend both said "Mr.Fleetwood" at the same time and now before I even have the keys in my hand (I am officially getting the car tommorrow, I technically own it right now but I dont have it) we have a name for it. Yup so my Caddys name is Mr.Fleetwood.

ITs a great crusier, I used to work at radioshack in high school so i know a little about simple switches, wiring, lighting, etc.. I have recently put in strobes, green int lights and now i am pondering others. The goal is to make it look normal but with the drop of the ash tray and some darkness a fun time. :p :rolling: :cheers:

I'm not good at naming cars, though. I usually call my Corvette "the Shark," which is fairly un-imaginative.

Actually now you can get those fake bullit hole decals that you stick on the paint, and it looks like metal peeled back from a bullit. Pretty funny when I saw it on a Cavalier the other day. Maybe I will put a couple on my better-halfs car to fool her, but then she would probably think they are real and call the cops! :bonkers:

those are for people who don't care about their cars as much and like a good joke. You'll see 'em on a POS car once in a while and crack up. Obviously a caddy owner wouldn't purposely put that kind of sticker on his/her car. Actually come to thing of it, I never see caddies with stickers or decals on them. ever.

I've never thought about it, but I think you're right. I can't remember ever seeing a Cadillac with stickers on it. Maybe I've never been paying attention, but I'll keep an eye out now, it'll be interesting what I find.

My 86 deville is called 'sledgehammer', which is what we used to call my old malibu wagon streetracer. But I dont do that anymore..

I named my caddy Cognlac, its half Cognac and Lac, Because i own a cadillac and I probably drink too much cognac. My friends agree ;)
