I bought a used factory CD radio from a donor 98 deville off ebay, for use in my 96 deville.
The BOS is the same, it plugs right in and powers up - but asks for a code, which of course I don't have.
Is there anyway to clear the code, or somehow reprogram the radio so I can use it? The dealer went on about how they could do nothing , but they would be happy to charge me a couple hours labor to try... lol.
If they are right then every factory radio from donor cars are big paper weights?
