I was thinking about purchasing a billet grill from www.customcaddy.com . I didn't want a typical one so I asked if they could paint it high gloss black paint. At first he said that was no problem but now he says it might not look good. How do you think it would come out?

Which one did you have in mind. There are several on the link. High gloss black would be ok in some cases but not all. IMO Good luck.

high gloss black on a billet grill in my opinion wouldnt look good at all. to me, it would look like the entire grill is missing and there is just one large gaping hole.

You can get that billet grill from E&G Classic in Maryland for under $300.00 I have a black 96 STS with the billet grill and it looks just great. You can order the grill with the place for the cadillac emblem or without.....I got the one with the place for the emblem and I have been very happy with it. Hope this helps:)

If your car is black I think the high gloss grill will be tight. I have a black 96 STS myself and I have the billet grill from E&G Classic in Maryland. It's part black and part polish (not chrome) and I like it a lot. It was under $300 I went to there warehouse and picked it up myself. It took me about half hour to install it as well. Hope this will be a little help to you.

Peace:)

well I had forgetting about this idea until I stumbled across this picture on Ebay. I think it looks great, but I would definetly have an emblem. How do you think he did it?
