weird noise..had it since I bought car 1 Year ago (2000 Catera) motor sounds like it has a blower or something on it. Not annoying at hwy speed but ...is this usual ? I wondered if there was some psuedo forced air system but I have nothing to support that...Anybody have any suggestions??? :hmm:

I think it's the secondary air injection pump. Mine switches on for a few seconds during a cold start. But that's it.

Yep, secondary air injection pump in the drivers side front wing....un-plug it and forget it was ever there......
