I know there have been ask before but I tried to find the infor , just couldn't find it . So I have to ask again.


Is there any difficulties to swap 1999 STS to 1996 STS? Any differences between those 2? Please specifics the differences , any where the informations are?

'96 to '99 are compatible, but you have to use a VIN 9 (L37) engine, not a VIN Y (LD8).

if both engines are from an STS then its the 9
