I posted this on the CTS forum but decided to try this one as all of you have clutches.
Has anyone encountered a stiff clutch pedal when it's cold outside 7F ? It gets better as the engine warms up.
It is really hard to push and the response is slow.
The fluid is up to level and not any darker than it has ever been.
It is an 05 CTS 3.8 6-Speed

Every morning for the past 4 or 5 days it's been 10 F or colder and every morning it feels like I'm going to have to stand on the clutch pedal to get it to go to the floor...

I took it in to the dealer today , they said they will let me know tomorrow.
The transmission shifts OK not sluggish at all, but the clutch pedal is slow to return for the first few miles.
My 92 Saturn and 99 Jetta were like that. Very stiff in the cold. My 2000 Maxima does not seem affected by temp. It is probably just the nature of that particular hydraulic system.

The dealer still has the car. He is flushing the fluid on it tomorrow. Hope this does it.

Got the car back from the dealer working OK. They ended up flushing the hydraulic clutch with fresh fluid. It was 2F this morning and the clutch was as free as when it's 70F.
