Sorry if this has been covered a million times but..............

I'm considering the FG2's but I want to know how much they change the ride. How much better does the car handle? Those that have them, would you buy them again or go with an aftermarket setup?

Thanks

I have never taken my car to the track or driven a V without them but here is my take. I have lots of canyons near my home. The car feels like its on rails. The freeway ride may be a little rough but it all balances out in the end. I would/will by my next V with the same setup (FG2).

I have to go out and see what shocks I've got but I suspect that they are the FE4's. The car seems to handle quite well but sounds like the FG2's are better.

How about FG2's for $1300 vs. Ground Control springs for $500. Which one wins?

I've heard it both ways. :stirpot: And, I have driven both.

If I could upgrade to them for just $2-300, I would, but not $1,200 or whatever they get for them. :duck:

Hey, Brent, are you getting ready for Gingerman or something?

I wouldn't drive a V without FG2's. FE4's have like zero rebound. That can be dangerous in a car with this power.

Cali, are you saying that the FG2s help with respect to wheel hop?

Whats the easiest way to tell which ones you have?

What ever happened to the adjustable coilover system?

Easiest way to tell is to look under your car at the shock: FG2's have a dashed purple line around them.
