I was thinking it would look good if I could find some Grill Material, and fit it in the vents on the front of the CTS-V. The Brake vents. I had some on my 2002 Z06, it looked great.

Any help from the forum, I would be glad tio get!

Someone makes it as I have seen the mesh grill in place of the fogs!

check the cts forum... those guys have aftermarket guys who sell them stuff to look like Vs that covers the fogs and lower opening on the CTS... you could cut that and use it.

You could just buy a V grill off ebay, cut it up, and then mod it to fit in those vents.

I've seen the mesh covers for the Fog/DRLs. They reduce the light ouput of the Fogs so I wasn't interested. I have the STS-V Fog/DRLs and the V Bumper. Some mesh over the Brake Ducts might look good. We have a member in the CTS Forum that has access to metal fabricating equipment. He is in the process of installing a V Bumper. I'll see what he thinks.

if u wanna try it you can get the material from them

u could probebly just cut it and put it between the brake vent/fog assembly and the bumper cover i would think

HiYa Brent,
The first looks promising. A 12x48" is $25+15 S&H .047 thick.

The 2nd website looks like pre-fabs but no blank stock?

Making an accurate template may be somewhat difficult.

and must be Electropolished other wise willnot have the chrome look!!!!

goto http://www.mcmaster.com/ and search on wire mesh. I don't have a V, so I am not sure what size opening and wire it is. They sell every size there is in 12"x12" sheets. $40 for 12x12 piece on average for stainless, $15 for steel.
