Parting out because I bought it from a wrecker.. I have no clue what's wrong with it though, it started up fairly easily.. the only thing I could see wrong with it was that the brakes were completely out of fluid.. as well as a big dent and hole they put in the floor of the trunk when forklifting it, but it didn't damage anything but the floor pan. Ah, I wish I could've just kept it..

There's no ownership or keys tho - but I think I could've gotten both if I really tried, not sure about the door keys though. Always new tumblers,

The car is pretty mint though. Engine looked pretty decent aside from a good coating of dust, I assume it sat in someone's garage for a while before being sent to the wreckers. The interior is really nice aside from the driver's seat, the steering wheel and shifter are both flawless, that surprised me for the year.

Are you having problems titling the car?

Well, I have an idea how I would go about titling it, I checked into it and it's still under the original owners name and hasn't been written off - although that's what the wrecker told me,

I can buy the package from a DMV that will give me the details on the current owner, who I can contact and arrange to get a copy of the ownership, as well as have it signed over to my name.

However, I'm assuming there was a good reason why it was sent to the wreckers.. although stranger things have happened (ie that other thread 'I saved an STS', congrats to him btw, that was impressive). Either way though, I already pulled out the rear interior, as well as a few little things from under the hood for my other STS - the real reason I don't need to keep it, I already have an STS, as well as my other car.

Sell the parts on eBay. $0.99 listing fee, usually.
You'll have better luck than trying to sell pieces on forums.

Sell everything from seats & grilles to lights & motors... hood, trunk...
Make some money off of it...

Alright, replies...

firstimecaddi and icemanbwab, which brake light exactly are you referring to? the really wide narrow one on the trunk is in good condition.. the light on the right side of the trunk has a lot of small cracks in the housing, the one on the left has 1 or 2 minor cracks. also, the brake lights on the rear of the car, the right side is cracked, left side is in good condition. can provide pics and prices if interested in any.

icemanbwab, also - I'm located in Mississauga, Ontario.. quite a ways north, though I wouldn't mind being down south right now. And yes, I believe it's the cream interior.

lbwd, thanks for the advice. Over the next week I'm going to get to work on putting it all on Ebay,

LadyCrimson, sorry to say but the center console armrest w/ cupholder is in somewhat condition.. I wouldn't feel right trying to sell it to you,

billytheshoe, I'm not sure about the fit between Eldo's and Sevilles.. you would have to contact a dealer, or perhaps someone here on the board could help. Also, I'm not positive the interior is the cappucino cream, but I can provide a couple pics if you'd like to see.

97STS4ME, I'm not positive the trunk pull-down motor works, but tomorrow I'll check it on a battery. If it does, I'd sell it for $25 + shipping.

Eldorado Man 9399, once again I am unsure of the fitment between the Eldos and Sevilles. It would also take me a little time to get at the struts, so I would check out alternatives in the meantime.
