All you guys think youre sooooo cool with your engine that has been around for like a million years. You guys have it so easy, it disgusts me. I mean half of you dont even contribute anything because theres nothing left TO contribute. All you guys do is get on the forum, get your readily available (and easy) mods and then beat up on some kiddies (such as 250)!! Most of us CTS guys are too busy trying to push companies to give us some mods to spend our time abusing the little kiddies.

I went from a Nissan Murano to a V with a clean record and my insurance went up 20.00 a month. That's saying no to one visit from pizza hut per month. You can't afford that and you're driving a Cadillac ?

The same comment heard again and again, and it only demonstrates another person who has never actually driven the car. The V is more than an engine, it's handling and balance are completely different than the standard CTS. I've driven 2.8s and 3.6s as loaners for several days at a time and it's about a hell of alot more than just the difference in the engine.

Not wanting to have to deal with a manual shift is certainly something some people do not want to deal with, especially in stop and go traffic. But what you really mean is you can't beat you meat and shift at the same time.

WOW THATS FUNNY!, anyways, I couldnt remember who had the 3.6 emblem on their cts because they had v bumpers, thats the way to go, how can you go about purchasing these? also anyone have any recommendations for swapping the gm badges on the sides of the car? i want to put V EMBLEMS THERE!!!! (that was a joke) i want to change it up instead of the gm logo any ideas?

I have a confession to make
I made a few hybryd-Poser vehicles
base model Yukon, with escalade tail lights/ head lights/door handles/ roof rack/and Denali steering wheel and wood trim. and outside the door where Yukon letter are, I put V logos on them. Oh, almost forgot. Range Rover Sport side vents.

The last time I checked Cadillac or anyone else has never created a V SUV. So it's kinda hard to be a poser of something that doesn't exist in the first place.

i dont see anything wrong with putting CTS-V bumpers on a CTS. they are the same car, the only difference is the engine which is the only reason it gets the V badge. its the highest option in the CTS lineup, that is all a V series is. everything else is just a sportier looking fascia that makes it look a little nicer. and the "V" grille came out in 2002 by E&G way before the actual V series Cadillac came out.

It may vary from state to state. Here the magic age is 25 for males. Once you reach that the premium can drop almost 50%. I looked forward to that birthday more than I did 21.

I'm at 23.5K and my diff doesn't even whine. Without knowing how each individual actually drives the car, it's really hard to get a true feel for the situation here. There's no doubt the diff is a weak point of the car, but it's also sold on other models of GM products and they apparently have issues with it as well, just not as prevalent. But then most folks who buy a V buy it drive as a performance vehicle, so it makes sense it sees more occurrences of it. However that's why I have a warranty and don't do anything to void it.
