If I get it I want to turn it into a nice hot rod what size engine & transmission are in it know? What sould I do to it should I get a new engine or should keep the old one & just update it. If I get it I am looking to drop $10k to $20K into it to make it a decent hotrod what sould I do. I want to get a automatic racing transmission & a engine with 850+ horse power eninge.

there is place here in baltimore called hotrod limos that does that

they have one 87 caddy limo i think that has a procharged 502 ... its a wild ride, loud as a sunuvabitch

To 502s I say BAH. Keep it Cadillac powered. With 10k into it, you might have $4-5k left for a motor. Which is in the price segment where the Cad 500 shines. I'd go big cam w/the necessary shaft rockers, ported iron heads, forged pistons and rods, then spray the hell out of it.
