Midnight Eldorado and I went to see Hairball last night with a bunch of friends. They were at a local bar. Lot of fun, haven't seen a band with that much energy in a long time, even if it was all covers! Got off cheap too, only spent $34 on booze, think I had about 12 or 13 beers the whole evening, which lasted more than 4 hours. The band played for almost 3 hours; everything from the 80's, and they kept changing outfits! If I would have drunk a little more, I would have sworn I was really looking at Ozzy or Freddy Mercury. Great stuff! Anybody ever seen them before? I wrote down the setlist:

I guess that sounds a bit excessive for me, but I don't think I could feasibly take down 12-13 beers in one night, I'd feel so bloated!

C5: A dozen beers in a night isn't all that much for folks who drink regularily. Back in my heyday of 18 and 19 years old I could do that with my eyes closed, then move on to the whiskey. Now, five or six and I'll be hurting without a decent sleep. :)
