I am putting a 2002 or 2003 non VVT Northstar in an 86 Pontiac Fiero GT, 5-speed. The engine is in and running with an aftermarket ECM, but I need some information for the ECM.

The ECM is a Big Stuff 3, it is capable of running the stock 00+ coil on plug ignition and sequential fuel injection. But I need to know stuff like how many teeth are on the crank and cam reluctor wheel, the trigger angle of both, cam profiles, injector size, etc... The engine is from a Seville STS, and is the 300HP version.

The problem I am having is that it will not rev, or run good. I think it is a problem in the setup of the engine. Someone must have taken one of these engines apart so far. I can figure out the crank refrence angle, but I need to know how many pulses/rev it gets.

I'm not an ECM whiz, but I do know that the crank reluctor wheel (2002) has a strange set of unevenly spaced "teeth" which also vary in width.
