I think the 17" cast wheels on my V6 AWD look ugly and I want to change them. I don't want to go to 18s because I like the more compliant ride of the 17s. Has anyone done this and do you have any recommendations? TIA
BUTT UGLY WHEELS :crying: :crying2:

Don,
They aren't ugly, they are just kind of dull with the silver paint.
I have been doing google searches looking for someone who can give me a price to have them polished.
It would really make the wheels and the car "pop" with polished wheels.
One more thing, I will never own a car with chrome wheels so please don't suggest that. :bouncy:

Dang, I think those look good, dull is a better adjective. Chrome would be golden, IMO...
What about some STS or DTS chromes????

Well, they just look "flat amd fat" like fake hubcaps. Don't know whether polished would do it for me.
I guess I'll surf around and photoshop some other wheels in to see how they look. :)
I'm doing the same search for the same reasons. If I find something I'll post likewise. BTW I really like the pin stripe...did the dealer do that?

Yeah, apparantly the dealer talked to my wife. It turned out pretty well, especially on a darker car.

I would suggest having them chromed. The company we use does a copper-dip double coating, and it looks beautiful, especially on the darker colors. On this wheel it does not look blingy(is that a word?). The chroming brings out the lines in the wheels without looking gaudy(IMO). MC2 has some nice wheel options also.
So far, I have not found any company offering chrome or polished 17 inch wheels. Dealer says it is too early. Does anyone know of any company doing this, has to be stock SRX wheels.

We have a company that does the plating for us, I will check on pricing. Also, Vogue and MC2 both have wheel options.
