The install wasn't bad at all. There were some tough parts though especially getting the tubing over the SC intake. D3 did not use cheap stuff by any means. I have had a bunch of intakes over the years and this by far is the highest quality.

I was amazed at how bloated the stock stuff was and you will be able to see from some of the pics. There are quite a few obstructions with the stock stuff. D3 took advantage by simplifying.

Once you install this kit you will hear the SC. GM did a good job of keeping it quiet with the stock intake but for a performance junkie like myself I want to hear it :) whineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :).

Now to the results. I can say that the car is breathing much better you can just feel it in the way it shifts and throttle response. The biggest difference I felt was on the freeway. 60mph punch was impressive.

Granted I have not had my car that long and I have only punched it a few times.

Is there any way to get the factory engine cover to fit back on?
