I came across this official Cadillac web site and they have video clips and one introduces the guy who hand assembles the STS-V & XLR-V engines. I used to work for General Motors and we had a guy at out plant who hand assembled each intake/fuel injection system for the Northstar Alante engines. Anyway here it is 3 videos (Built in Michigan, V-Series engine build, & Cadillac hand-assembled engines).

Yeah, I read that in the brochure. Pretty cool.

Well that must be worth something, because my STS-V has not used even 1/2 qt of oil in 2500 miles. My pevious Seville would be closing in on 2 quarts by now, and GM said it was normal for a high performance all aluminum engine to do that...needless to say that engine was replaced for one that used half as much.

Oh well...as I said...that must be it.
