I'm also looking at a new 2007 CTS-V that I'm interested in leasing for 24 months. Does anyone happen to know the money factor or residual for a 15k a year for 24 months lease?

i dont agree,, i leased my 05 for two years..put 1200 down and paid 620 a month,,so i came out of my pocket around 17k total..and no headache to sell the car after..looking to get a good lease on a sts-v now..its all about timing to get a good lease you cannot beat!!

Yeah I'm thinking I can lease one for 2 years for almost as cheap as buying used per month and dumping it when the 09 V hits. It looks like the residual is about 65% for a 2 year 12k lease according to the figures I got from one dealer. BMW actually gave me the money factor too which helps in figuring them. So I was hoping to get the money factor gmac sets too.

well you have to have a family member thet works for GM to get it ! mother ,father ,brother ,sister or a inlaw!! the friends discount as not as big as the family! you have to know some one that works for GM thats close to you to get it! if they want to give it to you?? good luck!! with the position that the auto world is in though you may be able to come to about $30 to the emp/fam discount if you can't get it! you just have to play the game!!

Well I'm gonna haggle thats a given lol. Thats why I wanted to know what the residual and money factor were so I could come up with my own figures. Right now the quote I got was $865 (including tax) a month for 24 months at 12k a year. I thought that sounded high. Car stickered for 52,990

i agree! if you plan to keep it for a longer period of time and make mods to it! lot cheaper than a new one! but if you lease don't forget bumper to bumper coverage during the whole time you have the car!! peace of mind!!
dealer cost $90 per hour for repairs.

I have 2 quotes now for 24 month 12k mile leases. One is 865 and the other is just a tad over 900. Those are both way high to me.

^^^^^ Way high.

With 12 miles on a lease you should be in the 600-700 range.

I wish someone would post up the terms of their lease who got one in this range. I don't know if they got a higher residual (I'm hearing 63% from my dealers) or if they got a lot bigger discount on the car or what. I'm looking at $0 down upfront too.
