Hey V-Beach, my girlfriend's family owns some property in Marco. She grew up there, and raves about how nice it was living there. I've never been there though. We're planning a trip out this summer.

If you like 78 degree average year round temp, boating, golfing, swimming, white sand beaches, great restaurants and stuff like that, yeah it's a pretty good place to live.

Gerry, I like Fl. alot but was there in 05 with two hurricans - two days no gasoline but still I like it.

Remember when the hurricane hits Punta Gorda? I was glad it didn`t hit Cape Coral where it was expected first to make landfall.

I would love to own some property in Florida. Marco is on the gulf side right? It really does sound like my kind of place, even with the possibility of hurricanes. There is always something everywhere.

Yes, Marco is Gulf side and it totally rocks!

I vacationed there twice about 10 years ago and freaking loved it. We stayed in a condo on the southern part of the island facing the gulf. Big pink condo building.....forget the name. But it had it's own dock and I spent days and night on that dock fishing for snook, tarpin and sheepshead. Awesome.

We have talked about going back soon, I have to do it.

The Plantation is a pink condo on the Gulf Side.

Yes sir, Gulf Side. The Calusa Indians founded Marco and cast a spell over the Island that wards off hurricans. It works!

Gerry, the Plantation was exactly it! It was just so relaxing and I remember some great places to eat. I specifically remember eating at The Snook Inn and The Mainland Inn. Both very good food.

So, If I come down again I can sack out at your place

Me, the wife and 3 kids!

I also remember being down there during Honeybell season. Those oranges were the absolute best ever.

Thanks for the welcome. I went to the Penn State v. Ohio State game a couple of years ago at the 'Shoe. Sat beside 2 very nice PS fans. It's a great program too, just like Ohio State's!

The stealth gray is so pretty. It looks blue one minute and gray the next. I love it! Looking forward to posting more on this forum. Seems like a wealth of knowledge is here.
