Looks like 04 and 05 V's not supported. http://www.dashhawk.com/support.html
Or are they CAN equipped?

The o4/05 are not, they are ODBII which it appears is supported as well. The deal breaker for me is this:

"60 second internal record ability."

Not enough time to gather enough relevant data for tuning or otherwise. Not a bad price for an accelerometer and OBDII scan/clear tool combined. It doesn't say how accurate the accelerometer is though.

If it had four additional sensor inputs you could do brake temperature.

The autocross guys would love that I bet.

It appears the vehicle must be CAN compliant, not just ODBII.

Under features it says 3-5 minute record capability (vehicle dependent)

Yea, I think you are correct CAN only. So 06 and up CTS-V only.

If someone had good eyes (not me) they could look at the ODBII conector in the car and see if pin 6 and 14 are populated (have a metal pin in them). I looked but it's to close for these old eyes to see.

It looks like the 3.6 2004 CTS is covered that year and then 2.8 and 3.6 in 2005. It can then be used in the CTS-V. Need to check the pins for the earlier years to make sure.

So this can be used with the 2004 3.6L?

You'll sell some if it's workable on the 04-05 V, I bet.....
