StuJac 01-21-07, 11:41 AM I like walnut oil for pancakes. EcSTSatic 01-21-07, 11:46 AM Why ask after the fact? Go with it, you're fine - it's oil. Castrol synthetic is fine as long as it's 5/30 or 10/30 eldorado1 01-28-07, 06:29 PM http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/northstar-performance-technical-discussion/74150-api-grades.html dkozloski 01-28-07, 08:35 PM Canola! submariner409 01-28-07, 09:19 PM :horse: Read the owner's manual and don't believe the snake oil claims. A "starburst" certified oil with the proper viscosity for your most normal temperature conditions will do just fine. Otherwise, hype is just more "American Idol" bullcrap. eldorado1 01-29-07, 12:10 AM For a 93-99, a "starburst" certified oil may not have enough high pressure anti-wear additives to keep your cams and lifters alive.
