Leather or cloth? Are you going for stock or a custom look?

I know I'm thinking about the same thing for my brougham. I've got the buttoned D'Elegance leather, and I'm definitley going for a stock look.

Try SMS auto interiors. I got NOS fabric and vinyl to perfectly match my 68 Deville.

mines is red leather.ive seen this replaced with material, but it didnt look right.however, before i spend 1g on this seat,i think i'll look for another car in better condition!!!

No, don't just ditch a 1977 Coupe Deville because the leather needs work! If you're that cheap, just get a red seat cover from JC whitney. Anything, don't just throw away a perfectly good Cadillac from the end of the golden age because you don't want to put in some effort.

Cruising thru AutoZone a few weeks ago, I saw a whole bunch of really fancy seat covers for a whole bunch of cars.
I wonder if a 77 CDV seats would be the same as a 77 Buick or Chevy and thus you might find an almost exact fit at AutoZone.
The stuff I saw was 1)Cloth type, 2)Vinyl/fake Leather, 3)Combination like some premium car types.
Some of them looked pretty good.

let me reword it.i like the car,but in its current state,i wouldnt put 1g in THIS cdv especially for 1 seat!i will probably look into the seat covers and it enjoy it that way.i doesnt have to be a mint resto for me to enjoy,as long as it runs good and looks decent.the exterior is very decent.
