I have run Magnecor's on all my LSx motors. The seem to hold up the best.

Are the Magnecores pre-terminated or a Universal set? I have a 8.5mm universal set in the garage, but hate terminating the wires.

Swapped plugs tonight - reminder - swap your plugs! I had a serious mis-fire at 4K rpm and I was begninning to suspec faulty 02's, a tune, or? but had overlooked the obvious. A plug wire had either never been put on correctly by me or worked its way partially off the plug end...gotta love grabbing third and letting Stabilitrak do its thing!

:burn:

(still no Lotus around the twisties though, what with one front shock with no oil and an extra 2,000 lbs to lug around.

Ready to go out of the box, except you have to unboot one end to put the coolsox on.

Magnecore 8.5MM wire kits 85283 LS2 work very well.

Geez, a guy starts saving for a maggie, and now I find out I gotta have new wires, too?

Tell me, on a scale from "pure-bling" to "won't-work-without-it," where do new wires fit when it comes to a maggied V?

IMHO, they're totally unnecessary. I have a damaged wire...hence my request.

You should change the plugs with a Maggie and go one range colder. I figured as long as you're doing that, change the wires as it's not easy after everythings back in place,

stkshkr is right...while changing plugs it is a piece of cake to swap wires too...I'll have to readdress in a week or so.

Tomorrow is 300 miles in the Lotus...so it won't be tomorrow :lildevil:
