New to me S&W model 60-9 (lady smith :RightTurn:) 357 magnum. I picked this up in (used 98%) excellent condition today for $385 + tax. I'm trying to find someone to decode the serial number, and 8 digit number under the grips, to see when it was manufactured. This is small enough to fit into my pocket (J frame) and still fits my hand nicely.

I'll be using it as a backup weapon mostly, and to torture myslef at the range.

Ruger model 96 .44 Remington Magnum carbine. Lots and lots and LOTS of fun! Not as well put together as my 10/22's, but I havn't fired more than a dozen or so shots through it. Brand new and hopefully it comes together as I fire it and do some fine tuning. Traded it, actually, for my S&W 686 7 round 357 Magnum revolver. Money-wise, I lost a little bit, but I think I'll have more fun with the .44 Mag, and I plan on getting a Super Redhawk in .44 Mag soon so the ammo will go both ways.

Chinese SKS. Cheapo, but fun to plink with. Stock has now been changed over so its not only not the cheap crappy synthetic one, but a legit CA approved version. Havn't fired her yet because I was waiting for the non-folding regular stock to come instead of the pile of crap that was on it before I got it. Like I said, nothing special, just a cheapo shooter that I can beat up and not worry too much about. The bayonet is coming off too, just because its in the way and is useless anyways.

The SIG and the Kahr are just the two that were laying on the computer desk that make the picture look good.

The small round is a 9mm, to compare with the .44 Rem. Mag. that the Ruger Model 96 fires.

Oh yea...the black magazine is a 10 rounder for my Kahr K40. Normally only holds 6+1, this one makes it 10+1. Pretty much only a range mag as it sticks out too far for carrying, but it'll be fun at the range. I bought two of 'em. :)

(Can't wait to move out of California so I can get AR's and high caps like most of you folks are able to. Damn you California. Too much to love to leave though...:) )

Now that I have a 357 magnum I can also get a 357 mag lever action rifle that I have been wanting. I've also been trying to talk one of my colleagues out of his old (well kept) SKS. I think he's starting to weaken some. It's only a matter of time. :D

And yea, I sure do miss that 'ol hand cannon of a .357...but when I pick out a .44, it'll be even better. :D I was a dead-eye shot with my 7-shot revolver though...I dunno, maybe I'll have to talk him into selling it back to me. :)
