If you have Rainsense, there should be a little black box (sensor) next to the rear view mirror mount, but that should not prevent you from turning them off.

On my 01 the sensor is a large black triangle under the mirror mount

They must very a bit then, depending on year.

They do. I've heard a couple different things.

When mine failed to shut off it turned out to be the wiper module, which is part of the wiper motor assembly. You have to replace the whole motor - there is a 'module' (electronics) attached to it. If you look at the schematics there isnt' much that can cause them to turn on when the selector is set to 'off'. Pretty much has to be the module. Even if the Rainsense was malfunctioning, shutting off the wipers would stop it.

Ok If Its The Wiper Motor How Can I Be Driving 20 Minutes Or So Whith The Switch In The Off Position ,no Rain And Wipers Go Full Speed Cant Turn Them Off And Also When Pressing The Washer Button Nothing Happens Im Leaning More Towards The Wiper Switch It Seems To Me That The Wiper Motor Shouldnt Run By Itself The Switch Should Tell It To Run ,no Second Guessing Just Dont Understand Does Someone Knows Where I Can Find A Schematic?

I agree with turbo Jimmy, they come on and stay on because the module shorts out intermittenly.
attached is mech.
Good luck, Frank

Well if nothing else works on the switch such as the washer fluid not coming out then i would think the switch on the steering column might be bad. Maybe you turned on the blades and then the switch broke and now it won't turn off and the washer function won't work either.

Pull the fuse to turn them off temporarily

well they turn off sometimes with a very short delay and then go full speed again and i will have to disconnect the motor to stop it
