I'm the king of "Search". I sure wish I could find that pic from about two years ago that that guy posted of the board he put between the back seat and the trunk. I've looked all over for it and can't find it. It was out of some kind of stained wood. He even had the dimesions on how to cut it.

Urb, help a brother out.

It's okay guys. I've figured out what I am going to do. Starting my subwoofer enclosure and I want to seal the enclosure between the rear seat and trunk so nothing "sound" wise gets into the trunk. I'm going to use an 1/8" or 1/4" piece of MDF that will go between the seat and metal frame of the car and seal against the carpeted trunk panels. Had my rear seat out and it looks like it's going to work perfectly. The four top seat bolts will go thru the mdf and the bottom plate with the four bottom bolts will secure the MDF and not let the box move. Now to cut that center armrest -cupholder to vent everything thru.....that will be the fun part.

Ah.....love it when a plan comes together.

All these forums would have half the posts if peope would just use the search feature. As a matter of fact. If YOU searched, you would have seen that somebody already started a topic like this - and you could have just added to it.

Just messin' with ya! I really don't know if there's another "search" topic - but there probably is.

I know. I should have used quotes. I'm not used to all these crazy forum features. I suppose I'm too simple-minded. Anyway, I'm actually glad you started the topic. It's important to use the search feature and hardly anybody does.

Well you could set up a sticky with the most common say 20 questions asked that contains the URL for the search result. That way you just point the questions to that thead and tell them to click the link for the question and look through them.

Example - How to play a DVD while Driving ?

http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/search.php?searchid=266493

A clearer link to Cadillacfaq.com would be optimal. It is already set up in such a fashion, and would (hopefully) eliminate the need for people to constantly link to it.
