my bmw started imploding at 85k, so much for that german reliability. although the v is only at 15k, wondering what happens later. does anyone have one up near 100??

70K here...nothing out of the ordinary.

I believe Florian is the only one close to 100k so that should be your lone reply as far as hi miles go but it seems impressive! He must do a lot of highway miles just as I do and if it means anything, I have put 23k miles on mine in the past year to reach 28k now and I do not even have the slightest rattle and absolutely no problems. Even my Nav buttons are just now beginning to wear a little but no pealing as others claim, just slight wear. 28k is a far cry from 70k but just some info. for ya! Thumbs up to Florian though, he really uses that baby and with heads and cam no less!

47,000 on mine and no problems except for the typical stuff that was fixed under warranty. Just bought the extended warranty so I'm stuck with it for a while. I don't like anything else out there right now anyway.

61K on mine. Nothing out of the ordinary, except for the huge amount of tires I have purchased in the last 26 months!

'04 V

92,000 miles. Original Ebay car with blown engine. Had 4084 miles when bought. Have put in '06 rear end, 6th gear synchro stripped and radio buttons peeling. Otherwise, perfect. Not the first squeak or rattle, and with the StealthV tune, she really runs. I only use 87 octane Walmart gas.

5,000 on my 05 and perfect....sorry, can't really help. My 02 BMW blew ar=fter 60K...way too expensive

My low milage '04 V is great...............my 01' BMW (80k mi.) is an oil burning pig. While we're at it, my 00' Silverado w/ 171k mi. is solid as a rock (no pun intended) and doesn't burn a drop of oil.

Yeah, those Bimmers are not all they are cracked up to be. Super expensive to maintain and constantly in the shop for little stuff. Personaly, I will not buy another anytime soon. I do enjoy the ride and steering but I have that in my V too :)
