: Pics?

I think I've decided to not go with white diamond for my replacement unit. The cashmere interior is life ruining for my OCD personality and the vehicle I've seen with white diamond and ebony interior just didn't look right to me (though if anyone has pics, I'd be appreciative!)

I like Blue Chip and Antique Bronze. Would anyone be so kind as to post pics of either/both of these? If you own a blue chip, does it show well under light or does it turn different colors ala Rip Tide Blue? Does it stay a little cleaner than black?

Thanks very much! :D

After having several white with tan interior trucks (Escalade and Suburban's) I would not get the tan interior, too light and the 07' interior is even lighter. I am so happy with the black interior I would not think of getting any other color interior, and of course all my trucks are white exterior. It's a personal preference, but most people that get in my 07's for the first time tell me they like the black interior, of course that may be because it's something new since black has not been offered. I like how easy it is to keep clean. I like the truck in black exterior with the tan interior, but I would never own a black truck, just too much work. :)

What are your thoughts about the Blue Chip, Carl? Have you ever seen one in person?

Thanks for the input - if you have any pictures of the white on black, I'd be very appreciative! I can't seem to find any online.

Blue Chip is a great color, have two Zaino customers with that color and their trucks look great, I like the gold mist, and the radiant bronze is not bad either.

I'm leaning heavily towards Blue Chip. I just hope it won't trigger life-ruining OCD tendencies like black cars I've owned in the past.

That's a whooooole lot of truck to maintain! :D

Thanks again, Carl.

That is a nice color. All you see around in the ESV's are Black or White Diamond.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I could go antique bronze, silver birch or gold mist but all three are so overdone on the Yukon's (at least around here.)

Mix it up I guess! :)

I like that color too. Unfortunately, it's only available on the EXT - it replaces the "Blue Chip" found on the other two models. :(

I wish you could get Riptide Blue this year. It looks like navy blue or like a dark green or a blue green depending on the angle. I think blue chip is just as nice though. I don't care for the light colors on the Escalade. Like LLT said you don't see alot of dark colored or cool colored Tahoe's or Yukon's.

I give a vote for the White Diamond / Ebony. Of course, since that's my color combo...I'm a little biased. I will tell you, the white diamond is stunning in sunlight...and the black interior goes very nicely. I have an Alpine White BMW with a Sand interior...and I honestly can't say which color combo looks better. I can tell you the black is MUCH easier to keep clean.

Any chance I could get some pics from you, Alpine?

Thanks. :D

I found a couple of pics on Carl's site. It actually doesn't look bad. Now you've thrown another choice into the mix!

It's down to Blue Chip / Ebony and White Diamond / Ebony.

Carl,
I just purchased a Blue Chip ESV last month. I get lots of comments on the color and I've yet to see another on the road. I'll try to snap some pics this weekend.
p.s. I don't think it's any easier to keep clean than black, though.

The blue is "slightly" easier to keep clean than black, too much work for me ;) It is a great looking color, and you do not see than many on the road

Don't really have many good pixs showing the white exterior and the black interior on the old web site, I thought we had some pixs of that, maybe they will be on the new site, I have to look into that. :hmm:

I have Black exterior with Ebony, but I came close to getting a White Diamond for my 07 this time.

I think White Diamond and Ebony interior is the way to go if you're thinking of the White Diamond.
The Ebony interior is Really nice and from the outside, with all the window tint from the factory, you can hardly see the interior color if you're worried about how the Ebony looks with White Diamond.
Any dark exterior color is still going to be harder to keep clean.
Good Luck either way you go.;)

Very nice, Blu Chip! No regrets on the dark color?

Thanks for the pics, it looks great! :)

black is hands down the best color when new. but black is so difficult to keep swirl free. man even the 07 i am seeing are full of swirl marks in diret sunlight its horrific.

Absolutely. I just can't cope with black - I admire those that can. ;)

I'm trying to convince myself that Blue Chip wouldn't be as difficult to maintain/show excessive swirls.

None! I like the blue because of the flake it has in it....it is alot easier to clean than black....i should know my other car is black:helpless:

Excellent, thanks Blu Chip - I see you're in Virginia too... I guess that spring-time pollen doesn't ruin your life? :D

I think I'm going with Blue Chip. The only remaining question is have you ever seen a blue chip model with ebony interior? I think that's what I'd prefer, but I of course don't want something that doesn't contrast well or will be difficult to resell.

I wish there was another blue chip escalade in this area that I could see. I hate ordering on blind faith. They have a CTS at the dealer in blue chip, but it's difficult to gauge on a smaller car and it has a gray interior.

Thanks again. :)

Sorry LLT...my dig cam broke over Christmas. By the time I get a replacement you'll probably be driving your new truck!
