I got my windows tinted today. 20% all the way around. It looked nice, but I didn't get to enjoy. When I picked up my car started it up and got a message on my NAV "Battery not charging" Called OnStar to run vehicle diagnostics, they told me the charging system is faulty, drove the the dealer and they are backed up. I had to drive a shitty Chevy Malibu home.

*At least they covered the rental*

I got 20% around on mine too, love it. Looks sharp and still easy to see out of at night. You're gonna like it. Too bad about the charging system, hope they get you back in your ride soon.
Oh, and be sure to share some pics!

I was thinking of tinting my Light Platinum CTS but Ohio tinting laws only allow you to do 50% on front doors. I would still have gotten like 35 front doors, 20 for the rear doors and back. Not sure if it would look really good on a silver car but.. still thinking about it. I can get a killer price though.

Dealer called... My battery and altenator are working fine. ECM is bad, sending false signals. They ordered one, will be installed tomorrow. Man, I miss my CTS...

if your gonna get tint then do the front windows and pasengers windows the same shade like 20 all the way around, or 30 on driver and rear pasengers windows and 20 on the very back window.
It looks way cleaner in my opinion.
I don't like when i see a car with really dark pasenger rear windows and light front windows. I would rather not tint it at all if that was my only choice!.
Also it should take a good tint man about 3 hours to do your car, and pick a shop that offers a lifetime warranty on materials and labor.
my guys been doing it fo 32 years and tinted all the knight rider cars that they used in the tv show!

Mine were tinted when i bought them, didnt even think about night time driving, but at night there is VERY little difference, just ebough blocked out to keep people from blinding me when they come up on my tail. and during the day they are absolutely perfect. the fronts are just a shade lighter than the rears but you cant really tell unless you get up on it
