I have just noticed that my operating temperature is pretty much at 210 F the whole time im driving, is this normal or am i experiencing overheating problems? the truck is an 04 and has abour 42k on it right now, i am looking for extending the extended warranty i put about 100 miles a day on the turck and am scared this overheating will cause further problems. the dealer refuses to fix anything and says that its normal but they also said my transmission is "functioning as designed" when it wouldnt reverse and couldnt get out of 2nd gear. thanks in advance guys

Some dealers seem to be that way. I've seen some weird situations with the transmission but if it doesn't throw a code most dealers say "operating within factory specifications". If it happens often could you have them go for a ride along with you?
