http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/6/web/546000-546999/546351_1.jpg sweet setup buddy! is that a 2/3 drop?? if so, i got the same setup, i bet ya got headz turnin huh? :coolgleam gabbman 03-11-04, 08:30 PM do the wheels rub? heather's escalade00 03-11-04, 10:32 PM :bouncy: Very nice!!!! I cant wait to make my truck look hot like that. Infamous LadeOn24s 03-12-04, 06:23 AM Yea it is the Mcgaughys lowering kit 2/3. The wheels rarely rub on it. Tight setup!
What size tires are those. 305/40, 305/35, 305/30??
Did you install lowering kit or did you have it installed? Hard or Easy? invincible569 03-14-04, 09:57 PM You picked out some quality rims!! Those are a beauty!! can you give us more specs on the rim size & tires? What year is your escalade? Im still undecisive as to what rim size I want.. 23's or 24's. Why did you pick the Mcghauys lowering kit over others? Sorry for so many questions. I want to make sure I order the right setup for my escalade when I am ready. Thanks!
OH one last request.. do you have more pics?? Infamous LadeOn24s 03-14-04, 10:14 PM The wheels are 24inch Giovanna Genoas with BF Goodrich tires 305-35-24. The truck is a 2003 and I went with the Mcgaughys setup b/c they are 2 inch drop spindles for the front which basically will give you the same ride as stock b/c you are not touching the torsion bars which make the ride stiffer when turned down. Also in the back the mcgaughys kit has shock extenders which gives you a smoother ride in the rear too. I have had the ground force kit b4 and hated it. I absolutely love the ride on my truck now. I have some more pics I need to upload invincible569 03-14-04, 10:22 PM Thank you for clearing that up. Im glad you got to experience both sets of spring setups. Im going to definitely go with the Mcgaughy's too. Would any rim/wheel place install the kit for you? Just to make sure.. is this the kit you own: http://www.mcgaughysclassic.com/tahoe.html
I saw the cardomain emblems on your pics and tried to search for a bigger pic. :) Love the ride! gabbman 03-17-04, 11:19 PM how much did the drop cost? jcmendo01 03-19-04, 03:18 AM I have an 04 escalade and just put the order in for the Mcgaughy's for $850 installed. I would recommend this lowering kit because the dealers do it using this kit. Looks like their website says the kit for the new style escalade (they call it 01+) is #01E23D (comes with 2" spindles for the fron and 3" lowering springs for the rear) and cost is $385. Sounds like the way to go. BLUEXTON4S 03-26-04, 02:41 PM Thanks For The Suggestion On The Mcgaughys Kit. I Ordered One Today. I Even Had The Ground Force Kit I Was About To Use. I Had It On My Denali And It Road Pretty Rough. I Am Putting The Mcgaughys On My Ext. I Will Let U Know What I Think When I Get It On. BLUEXTON4S 04-06-04, 04:51 PM Just Got The Mcgaughys Drop And It Is So Smooth. I Will Try To Post Some Pics If I Figure Out How. I Got A Blue Ext On 24s. The Lowering Makes It Look So Much Better. so what´s the difference between their economy and deluxe kits? WOW Looks hot!!!!
Do you have any bigger pics? Anybody with the 2/3 Kit towing a boat or a trailer?
Any problems towing with this kit installed? onbagz2002 08-08-04, 08:20 PM clean install heres some pics of mine. on the third pic there is no seats in it because they are doin my new CROC AND SUEDE INTERIOR. i will definetly show some pics when its all done...
