: Has anyone seen the Traction Control engage on a 3-4 shift?

I got some skepticism that the TC would engage on a shift from 3rd to 4th. I have seen it at least once in my car in the cool weather. Anyone else?

Apply Throttle release clutch. There is a cure though ... competetive driving mode.

I think maybe it is easier for a non V owner to understand when you realize we have a 6 speed transmission. 400 hp + shifting into the direct drive gear (that's 4th right? 1.00?) on 245's = ability to spin tires.

:shhh: I like to chirp 3 to 4 whenever possible...:sneaky:

Got me in trouble with the local "officer" in his spankin-new dark blue Charger, luckily I got off with a warning.

At the track last weekend I actually got wheel hop in a 3->4 shift. Scary stuff at 90MPH.

I got a little scoot sideways from the rear on a 3-4 shift in the rain yesterday. Visions of past threads with wrecked V's danced through my head, but I recovered nicely.

Thanks autocross experience!

Once I put on the Ling intake -- yes.

Cuz the Lingenfelter intake just gave you all that newfound raw/brutal power, right?

Haha. I don't know about you, but all the Lingenfelter did for me was add a hissing sound on acceleration. I might have picked up a few hundreths from the reduced weight in my wallet, but that's about it.

On the front straight of a road course when I forgot to go back to competition mode following the break.

I know it isn't the same rearend, but with my current setup in the Bird (ls6 intake, Mac midlenghts, mcleod twin disk, exhaust and some other crap I am forgeting) It will engage the traction control on the 3 to 4 th shift. It may have done it before that, I never really thought about it.

I wish they made an Auto V, my wife won't drive the 6 speed, I can't get her to even try the WS6.
If they made an auto, I would have one.
