Will the Salt and snow on the roads in the north destroy the chrome on my wheels? What does a re chroming cost? We havent got much snow here so im thinking about not spening money on snow tires for just a few months.

If you keep them clean it won't hurt them. If you drive all winter & keep a dirty truck with dirty wheels it'll screw em up sooner or later. I live in Philly & have had chrome wheels for a long time. It's all about how you care for them. As far as rechroming, it depends on the rim. Do you have one, two or three piece? If they have to take them apart & reseal them it'll cost more. There's a place near me that charges $250 a wheel... I think that's pretty good.

Chrome escalade wheels seem to always hold up the best out of any wheel I've ever cleaned. They are almost always clean, and I have never seen one, even in Michigan with chrome that is chipping or flaking.
