I have an 89 sedandeville with a tbi injection system. My fpr was bad and a new one is $185.00. But they had a gasket kit set for $35.71 with the entire tbi rebuild parts inside. It's a no brainer to buy the kit if you know what to do. My question is this all I need to repair the system. The fpr was just a spring and diaphramand the rest were just gaskets. I disassembeled and reassembled everything just as I removed it. Has anyone done this and is there anything I need to know about it?

what is wrong with your FPR if it is leaking down you can remove the top portion of the injector and sand seat with fine emory cloth and it will stop leaking. the kit does not come with a diaphram or any regulator parts. If you are carefull you can reuse the gasket.

Came with a diaphram and all the gasket and O-rings. I will have on tomorrow and let you know if it worked or not.
