First pics I've posted, I dont have much done, magnaflow, ghetto intake that needs to be re-painted, led's on the interior and I installed my spoiler yesterday, and just love it...also got some pics of the chromed out oil cap installed...enjoy ;)

oh btw, that spoiler was a PITA to install if you use the template...It's best to put some tape on the bolts that stick out of the spoiler and put the spoiler on the trunk, then just drill where the tape was left..but too late now...just a heads up though.

nice pics...I like the spoiler A LOT...Your car would flow a lot better if you painted the 3rd brake light. . . Whered you get the spoiler from?

I know I wanted to paint the 3rd light before I put the spoiler in, but just did'nt care..I'll eventually do it...as for the spoiler, I got it from my dealer, it's the factory sport spoiler..they gave me a deep discount because they curbed one of my rims...and I took the spoiler instead of a rim since I plan on getting new rims soon anyways.

Yea, dealers suck....
I got my V back today from the dealer. They finally fixed my Reverse, motor mounts, fixed strut leak.
They forgot to change my Oil and I noticed that in the tire well there was A LOT of rubber from what looked like a burn out?!? I wasnt happy about that since they are new tires BUT I know the tech personally that drove and worked on my car. He is cool and helps me out in so many ways that if he wants to smoke the tires in the V, I dont blame him lol well Im guna look into that spoiler LOOKN good Nikon!

you can get the spoiler for the best price from james...my dealer quoted me 375 and told me 319 is their trade value I think he said...anyways, 319 is what james is sellin em for...the painted ones at least.

Looks great - I think a spoiler is one of the best mods you can do on this car. The ass just doesn't look right without it!

That spoiler looks great and matches the cars lines, Can anyone confirm for a 2004 Platinum CTS if the part number is 17801782 ?? I searched GM accessories but they only showed 2005 with a different silver color name.

I just put on my chrome oil cap this weekend and realized I was a dumbass. After I put it on the car the writing was facing the wrong way. I should have realized this when it came shipped without the sticker on the top. Oh, well I wonder if the cap will fit on my 2000 GMC Sonoma Highrider (4.3L 6 cyl.) So, to summarize for anybody reading this thinking about buying the oil cap, put it on first then put the sticker on the center.

yup, sure does, I don't see the point to them, I mean the spoiler is made out of plastic, its very light...my trunk stays up just fine with the stockers..of course I kept the other ones as spares for the future, but, thats all their good for.....and thanks for the tip on the little sticker tweeter, I still have mine, just dunno if I'm gonna bother putting it on, looks clean without anything.

I did the same thing but contacted the guy from ebay about buying a new sticker. He was nice enough to send me another one free. To remove the old one, take off the rubber ring and bake it in the oven on 250 for about 10 minutes.

Thanks for the info. But I decided to order another one. My old one was chrome with a chrome sticker, but I decided on the chrome with the carbon fiber sticker, I think it looks better.

IF you paint the third brake light can you post a pic.? That would look awsome. Does anyone have a pic with a spoiler and a painted third brake light?

I guess why I'm not so ancy to do it, is mainly because the car usually only comes out at night...and in the darkness, it looks like its been lightly sprayed..or at least matches the taillights better...but, sure when or IF I do it, I'll post pics.

I'll post pics up in the following week or two when I tint my tail lights and brake light. The red does not flow well with the black V's at all..:tisk:
