You are like *THE* tire guy.

For those of us who aren't (like me :) ), what does that really mean?

Had the F1s......toast. Got the GSD3s.......wobble, wobble. Now have the PS2s.....smooth like butta. Too bad it frickin' snowed like #$&@ here in Denver. Now the Pirelli SnowSports are on until March. Never had a chance to get the PS2s warmed up. My gut is they are not as sticky as the F1s, but they are sooooooooo much quieter and smoother than the others.

Just received the PS2's from Tire Rack. 245/45 and 275/40's are sitting in my garage waiting for me to get them mounted....They are great tires. I had them on a 540 and loved them. Not cheap, but if you want the best...

They call them Max Performance Summer tires, so how do they perform in bad weather like rain soaked roads ?

Hey!!!

Yes, they are an awesome tire. I used them on all my ///M Bimmers and will be putting them on my V later in the spring. I'm still deciding whether to buy 18 or 19's when I change the wheel, I made my stock wheels winter beaters if i wind up using the car at all in the snow........Happy Holidays to all!!!!!!

They call them Max Performance Summer tires, so how do they perform in bad weather like rain soaked roads ?Well, my Dunlop SP Sport Maxx were in the Max Performance Summer category and they were awesome in the rain. The PS2s aren't surveyed as the best in that category but they seem to do pretty well. Here...

Good find BigJim!!

The PS2 is the stickiest street tire out there period.
(haven't ever driven on the Falken's so cant speak to them).

I ran PS2 in the wet at Laguna Seca and they were awesome.
During the SUN morning drizzle, I was spanking the cars that previously spanked me on SAT, when it was dry.
IMHO rain performance is one of the PS2's strongest attributes.
Strength in wet, comfort and low noise are what justifies the high price.
It's the best of all worlds.
Of course, they are also great in the dry.

I love my GS-D3's, but maybe I don't know any better since I've never run PS2's...
