I am finally ready to buy my STS! I am wanting the 1SG package with ACC on a 05 STS. Color is not important.
I found a good deal here:
http://cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=22&paId=210841560&pageNumber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&recnum=1&leadExists=false&criteria=K-v8+navigation%7CE-ALL%7CM-_8_%7CG-40000%7CB-30000%7CH-%7CD-_7654_%7CN-N%7CR-10000%7CI-1%7CP-PRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CY-_2006-2005_%7CX-popular%7CZ-31098&aff=national
I am not excited about the AWD and it is over 1000 miles away. But at $27,900 with only 7500 miles... I am interested.
It must have the 1SG and the ACC. Anyone interested in selling? :)
I am not sure if I will find anyone on the forum looking to sell, but it is worth a try!
Thanks,
Ben

Don't go for AWD... RWD feels more agile... unless you have snow in your area...

Good luck :)

WOW, $27.9K is a steal.

I really want to get that one, but in Georgia, AWD might never be used. I am also not sure about buying so far away from a person.

If the price is right, hasn't been in a wreck, and is still under warranty it shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure it has a clear title.

Ben:

Be careful on that one, I called on it when I was looking and it has a salvaged title. It was supposedly in a parking ramp that collapsed, the owner couldn't get it out, so the insurance co totlaed it. The guy selling said there was not a scratch on it, but sounded pretty fishy to me.

Thanks alot mnwild33, that was a great price given the car only had 7500 miles. I was going to wait until February to call... I think I will stay away.

Do you think you can help me out Scott?? I am looking to buy in the next two weeks, but I need the vehicle by June. I also do part time sales at the local Caddy dealership and they said it would be hard even finding the STS I want. Which is why I am doing a national search. Nevertheless, they are looking at the auctions. I am sensitive to price. I am only interested in paying $25K plus tax. (Yes, I hate customers like myself) I might have to wait a few more months for the cars to depreciate some more, but I am in no hurry.

I found this one for $30K with a clean title. I emailed them and that is the lowest she could go.

I figure if they have depreciated 53% in 2 years, another 8% is reasonable in 6 months.
