Howyadoin,
I've been having a problem with AM radio reception, where the signal seems fine stopped at idle, but when I start moving over about 5 MPH the signal gets chockfulla static.. Checked the antenna connection, meters OK. Tried to get at the radio, not a chance getting behind the wall of electronics behind the back of the trunk... Of course, while I was looking back there, I noticed the speakers on the rear deck were Delco branded. This is the base radio/cassette, this I know... But does this mean the whole radio unit is in-dash, not trunk mounted like the Bose system? If that's the case, can I just install an aftermarket system without worrying about the special Bose wiring and amps?
Oh, yeah, and whazzup with the AM? :)
Thanks!
